Welcome to Jdayde Hotel!

Jdayde Hotel is a 400-year-old building that was once a warehouse, shoemaker shop, and jeweler shop in ancient Aleppine times.

Jdyade is the name of the ancient district in Aleppo. A nice dinner on the terrace of this hotel that overlooks Old Aleppo and its grand citadel is more romantic than a fairy tale! Have a lovely day in Jdyade!

One can relax in the well presented and comfortable rooms with a large LCD television. In a central position, guests are saved from the hustle and bustle from outside with double-glass windows to block out the noise.

The hotel is situated in a really nice historical location that has great deal of history behind it and has many attractions such as the majestic Aleppo Citadel, the traditional Aleppine historic souqs (marketplace), heartwarming hammams (oriental spa) and antique and silverware shops.

Jdayde the Aleppine Treat
It is interesting to note that this area was actually destroyed by Tamerlane in the 1400s. In that time Al-Jidaydah was inhabited with Christians before the Mongol invasion. Therefore, this quarter contained historic Churches.

After the former Christian inhabitants fled outside the city walls to a northwestern region of what has become part of Aleppo today. Al-Jidaydah was rebuilt by local brokers and has flourished into a highly developed quarter that has enchanting oriental palaces and courtyard houses.

Many historic buildings in the Al-Jidaydah area were restored and converted to elegant museums, schools, hotels, and restaurants. For more information about Aleppo in Syria please visit www.Aleppo-Hotels.travel.
